- **Event Description**: Are you ready to explore the fair, learn something new, and compete for prizes? The Allegan County Fair GooseChase Challenge is open to all youth ages 5 to 19, whether or not they are involved in 4-H.

Challenge Dates
Opens: Monday, September 14 at 8:00 a.m.
Closes: Thursday, September 17 at 12:00 p.m.

Participants can complete missions throughout the fairgrounds to earn points and climb the leaderboard.

How to Join
To receive access to the GooseChase challenge, please complete the registration form below. After you submit, you will receive access to the GooseChase challenge in the “thank you message”.

Note: The information collected will help us better understand the population we are serving through this activity. Responses will be reported in summary only and will not be connected to individual youth participants.

If you do not receive the information after completing the demographics form, email Kellie Kieren (kierenke@msu.edu) to gain access.

Important Information
Many of the missions require participants to submit photos through the GooseChase app. For the safety and privacy of all youth:
          -Do not submit selfies.
          -Avoid including other people in photos whenever possible.
          -Do not share personal information in responses.
          -Photos and responses will be visible to other participants in the challenge feed.
          -All submissions should be respectful, appropriate, and fair-friendly.
          -Participants do not need to complete every mission to have fun or earn points. New and experienced fairgoers alike can participate at their own pace

We encourage younger participants to involve a parent or guardian as they complete missions around the fairgrounds.
Winners

The top three participants 8 and over with the highest point totals at the close of the challenge will receive prizes. Winners will be notified through the GooseChase app. All participants 5-7 will receive a small prize.
