The Famous Sandy Creek Pig Races are on again this year, always the first Saturday of December and on their home ground at the Sandy Creek AKA Darling Downs Hotel in Allan, just outside Warwick.
Always a fantastic summer day at an iconic Aussie Pub. With hilarious Pig Races raising tens of thousands of dollars for charity, it’s a fantastic day for a work Chrissy party, a knees up with mates or bring the family, there’s heaps to do for the kids!!
- Entry $10 Adult, kids are free
- First Race 1pm
- Sweeps & auctions on each race so grab your mates & form your syndicates for your chance to win a bundle.
- Ripper tucker, Cold beer and Live entertainment into the night
- Great Pub Memorabilla auctioned off later in the night
- After Dark Electric Eel races back by popular demand ⚡️🤣

If you’re looking for an entire great weekend away, the Friday night prior is Jag the Joker at the Pub and another great night. Camping spaces right beside the pub fill up quickly though so get in early. (There’s always more camping in the paddock below the pub too though so never fear)
