This is our first service at a bush location and wheelchair accessible venue (after a couple of years at our first home, Bikram Yoga studio in Brookvale).Useful Information About Silent MeditationPeriods of silence are no longer than 20-30 minutes and the format is suitable for beginners to Yogananda's techniques, anyone who has their own spiritual practices and people wanting to learn more about esoteric meditation.All are welcome. Self-Realisation Fellowship genuinely respects all faiths and teachings. For services and events at the main SRF Centre in Sydney (Leichardt) which recently celebrated their 75th anniversary, please refer to: https://www.srfsydney.org.au/Information about how to apply for Yogananda's meditation techniques will be available (nominal cost of approx $100 USD) but there is no obligation to apply. Meditation techniques are received by post and can also be accessed on the SRF/YSS app (YSS is Yogoda Satsanga Society - the Indian branch of Yogananda's teachings).No teaching of meditation occurs at SRF Centres or meditation circles by householder devotees, however every couple of years visiting monks and nuns from the SRF ashrams in LA offer guidance and instruction to deepen followers' understanding of the techniques available in the SRF Lessons. https://yogananda.org/lessons
