Na afwezigheid van ruim een jaar staan spelen de heren van Gruv on da Ruv, vanaf 16:00 het dak er weer af.

Gruv on da Ruv staat voor pure groove. Een band van doorgewinterde muzikanten die moeiteloos schakelen tussen soul, funk en classics, altijd met hun eigen sound en energie.

Frontman Steven de Geus (zang/gitaar) is een veelzijdige muzikant die op grote podia als North Sea Jazz en Lowlands stond en internationaal toerde. Naast hem staat Jay-Tee Teterissa op bas, bekend van zijn werk met onder andere Candy Dulfer en Jan Akkerman, met een groove die net zo strak als speels is.

Met Frank Bilsen op toetsen en Leon van Etten op drums ontstaat een band die leeft van dynamiek, improvisatie en samenspel. Verwacht geen braaf optreden, maar een set die groeit, schuurt en losgaat — stilstaan is geen optie.

Entree zoals altijd op zondag gratis!
