The Dirty Word is back for 2026! 🎤✨

Mparntwe’s very own open mic night for poetry is back - so get writing.
It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to be yours.

🕕 Doors & dinner: 6-7pm
🗣️ Poetry kicks off: 7pm
💸$5 entry or by donation

Come down to The Roastery, support local business, while they support us.
Your home for original spoken word poetry - first Thursday of the month from March - September.

(And yes - we even bought a new mic stand.)
