Mparntwe's favourite folk-pop duo Moongaze are back in town with their irrepressible smiles and cleverly crafted songs. Bron and Sophie remind us all about the importance of fighting for social justice, our environment and love. Moongaze have honed the art of creating uplifting fun music with a moral compass.
Tiarnie is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and most importantly - a storyteller. Growing up on a cattle farm on the outskirts of Canberra/Ngunnawal Country, Tiarnie turned to songwriting as a form of therapy. An over-thinker, over-feeler and over-sharer, Tiarnie relocated to Alice Springs/Mparntwe to sink her bare feet into the red dirt. This new chapter of life in Central Aus is inspiring a fresh chapter of music that is more introspective than ever.
As always, meals, coffees and drinks will be available at the Watertank Cafe, and the every popular Open Mic session will kick off just after 7pm. 
The Alice Springs Folk Club is currently calling for renewals and new memberships, which at $25 is very cheap. ASFC members receive a discount on Last Sunday Folk Up entry, other ASFC events including the Top Half Folk Festival tickets, and 10% discount at Rock City Music.
