While the 1978 horror film HALLOWEEN was set in fictional Haddonfield, IL, it was actually shot here in Southern California. 

Key scenes from the film were shot in quiet South Pasadena within 2 blocks of our Welcome Party, so we thought we'd put together a small sight seeing tour of a few iconic Halloween film locations! 

NOTE: This is a walking tour. The full distance round trip is about 6 blocks. 

On this tour you will see:
The original Michael Myers House
Laurie Strode's (Jaime Lee Curtis) house
Laurie's pumpkin pedestal 
The hardware store
The Loomis/Myers drive by intersection. 

This is an exteriors only tour. We will not be going inside anyone's home or place of business.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION DIRECTIONS FROM DOWNTOWN LA: 

The Metro Train A Line drops off 2 blocks away from the shop. 

Route Overview 

Total Time: Approximately 24 minutes 

Estimated Cost: $1.75 (TAP card required) 

Train Line: Metro A Line (Northbound toward Pomona Station) 

Step-by-Step Directions From Union Station 

Enter the Station: Head inside Los Angeles Union Station and follow the signage for the Metro A Line platforms. 

Board the Train: Tap your card and go to Platform 1. Board the A Line train heading towards Pomona Station. Trains typically depart every 14 minutes. 

Exit the Train: Ride the train north for 5 stops and get off at the South Pasadena Station (Platform 1). 

Walk to Barbershop: Exit the platform and walk west on Mission Street for about 2 minutes. 1000 Mission St. will be on your left.
