I often find myself needing to slow down and find nourishment that serves me in a deeply restorative and internal way. Nourish is a day for just this. We’ll move gently and purposefully through the 5Rhythms. Allowing rather than pushing, and exploring the nuanced, subtle and sometimes potent dance that winter invites. Dancing for ourselves and all that we care about and seek to nourish. In the same way that a seed needs the dark, the warmth and water to germinate, we will explore the natural nourishment we can find when we listen deeply to our bodies in movement, rest and reflection. She taught 5Rhythms in Europe and America and has now been teaching weekly classes and workshops in Melbourne and around Australia for over 20 years. In 2015 she trained as a 5R Heartbeat teacher with Gabrielle’s son, Jonathon Horan, and in 2019 she completed a Heartbeat Refresh. With her husband David Juriansz, together as Moving Essence, they have helped make Melbourne an international mecca for the 5Rhythms practice mentoring students, trainees and teachers. Meredith’s dedication, passion and enticing style is quite simply, an invitation into the healing power of movement Gabrielle Roth’s 5Rhythms are taught all over the world and Moving Essence started the first weekly classes in Melbourne 20 years ago. Workshops offer a deeper experience of this life changing practice.
