- **Event Description**: A night under the stars, along with a walk and activities by the beautiful Potarch Bridge. 

We will be setting up Base Camp in the open field for pitching tents next to Potarch Bridge, followed by a walk along the Craigmore circular taking in the scenery. In the evening will be a BBQ with plenty food, a chance to chat and mingle and some questionable acoustic guitar performance :) 

For the more Adventurous I will setup paddle boards and inflatable kayaks for those brave enough to test the water! 

Directions: AB31 4BE once over the bridge turn left and you will see the circular car park where the open field is adjacent too. This will be our meeting point. 

There is access to portable toilets, waste disposal and we are next to Potarch cafe for snacks and refreshments. 

The Craigmore circular walk is around 6km and takes 1.5 - 2 hours. We will be setting off for the walk at 1.30pm. It’s entirely optional whether you want to join the walk, sit by the river, or just set up camp, relax and make new friends. 

I look forward to having you onboard Weekends without Permission’s first event. 

P.s I have additional equipment, spare tents sleeping bags etc if you are interested but don’t have equipment, if you send a message I will see what is left. I encourage all ages to get involved and I’m more than happy to help you get set up.
