The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi

One of the jewels of Italy from the 18th century, East Texas Baroque Orchestra will perform the four concertos for soloists and string orchestra for each of the seasons. Performing on period instruments and under the direction of Weston Jennings with violin soloists, Lin He (concertmaster of our own Rapides Symphony Orchestra) and Marta Szlubowska, the orchestra will depict in the music rustling leaves, delicate streams, barking dogs, claps of thunder, birdsongs, dancing peasants and chattering teeth in icy winds.
