The Center of Next Speaker Series is our new stage for big ideas, bold voices, and forward-looking dialogue that reaches far beyond campus.

Our upcoming session, The Quantum Advantage: How Quantum Technologies Are Shaping the Next Decade, brings together leaders from academia, industry, and government to examine how quantum technologies are moving from research into real-world application. While large-scale quantum computing remains on the horizon, meaningful advances are already shaping how organizations approach computation, sensing, and complex decision-making. This conversation will focus on where quantum is creating value today, what industry and government are investing in now, and how Virginia Tech is helping translate quantum research into practical impact and talent development.
