Many of you may know that we recently lost Landen Tillquist, a beloved former ATCC student, after his courageous fight with cancer. To honor Landen's memory and continue his legacy, we're hosting a fundraising event to support the Tillquist Memorial Scholarship in his name.

About Landen

Landen embodied the grit and hard work we all strive for. He was regularly in the Exercise Science lab by 7:00 a.m., working out before classes. He would openly acknowledge that he wasn't the most skilled player on the baseball team or the top student in the classroom, but he made up for it by being the hardest worker. He was intentional with everything he did and had a quiet energy that brought out the best in people. Landen loved baseball, his family (and his dog), and was passionate about helping others through fitness. He made a positive impact on everyone around him.

Event Details

When: Thursday, December 18 | 6:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Where: Exercise Science Lab, Room 114

What: Community deadlift event with a goal of lifting 1,000,000 pounds collectively

This is not a competition—everyone is welcome to participate regardless of experience level. We'll be deadlifting light to heavy, and all weight x reps will be tallied toward our collective goal.

A free-will donation will be accepted at the event, with all proceeds going to the Tillquist Memorial Scholarship fund at the ATCC Foundation.
