They will learn about space using a one-point perspective to create the illusion of a 3D space on a 2D piece of paper. Contrast will also be discussed in order to use colors and patterns to make different parts of the artwork stand out. (Common Core Standards include: CCSS.ELA-Literacy.L.6.1, CCSS.ELA.Literacy.W.6.7, and CCSS.Math.Content.6.G.A.3)Children must be accompanied by a co-participating adult guardian. – Come join us at Del Ray Artisans for interactive classes about Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM), taught by professionals from each field.
