Following their debut in 2024, BARBARA have quickly developed a reputation across Sydney/Eora for their unique take on 80s post-punk and early 2000s electro music, and dark playful live performances. The release of BARBARA's debut self-produced and independently released EP 'In Light of Recent Events' in July 2024 picked up support from community radio across Australia and abroad with tracks such as 'Good Health' and '23' garnering airplay on FBi Radio Sydney, RRR Melbourne, and KEXP Seattle, among others.
