are proud to present: 

*Sound Sorcery 2026* @ The Pleasure Club, Newtown.

(a women and trans-led project of 8 x fortnightly jams at The Pleasure Club starting February 2026). 

Set times

Doors: 6:30pm 

Feature Set: 7:15pm-8pm

1st Jam: 8:15-9pm 

2nd Jam: 9:30-10:15pm

Do you travel in a body that is continuously silenced, excluded, and overlooked in live music spaces? 

Jazz bores slowing your broom down? 

Is the spice you bring to a witch's brew too strong for the patriarchal palette? 

Does music always have to be stripped of its magick in order to be consumable?

To break the hex we’re starting at the place where voices can be heard for the first time, and connections can be conjured: The Jam. 

We’re brewing up a concoction with the following ingredients: 

killer house band of women and gender diverse mofos

featured artists from diverse backgrounds

Wheelchair accessible queer venue 

Vibes, vibes, vibes

Instead of stifling your vulnerability, squandering confidence, and indulging in toxic competition, why not help us co-create a space where we celebrate each other's uniqueness.
