In fact, it can be as easy as turning two tired eggplants into a jar of relish chutney, a few cucumbers into a jar of pickles or the last two lemons in the fruit bowl into homemade preserved lemons. In this class you will be introduced to the craft of chutney making, including an Eggplant Chutney and a Beetroot Relish. Alex uses adaptable recipes so you can interchange what you have, what you grow, or what needs using up in the fruit bowl and fridge. Come, enjoy, and learn all the tricks about chutney making!What's Included?The course includes information about jars, sterilising, heat processing, bottling and storage. You will go home with your very own homemade eggplant Chutney and Betroot Relish. Guests are also invited to indulge in a cheeseboard at the end of the class.
