November Once Upon a Book Club: An Encantadora's Guide to Monstros and Magi

Join us on Wednesday, November 12, for Once Upon a Book Club, our middle-grade fantasy book club for kids ages 8-12, where we explore wild tales about dragons, monsters, ghosts, witches, and the brave and impressive kids who deal with them from diverse backgrounds and authors.

This month we'll be reading An Encantadora's Guide to Monstros and Magic by Sarah J. Mendoca.

Parents are welcome to stay on the Junior side and participate or browse the adult side. Parents of children 12 and younger must remain on-site.

About the Book:

Encanto meets Oceans 8 in this middle-grade fantasy-adventure, set in a Portuguese-inspired world, following a tween girl who joins a notorious band of thieves to steal a priceless jewel and discovers corruption that must be stopped.
