André will be covering old favorite songs as well as performing songs from his newest project. Whether you're a lover of traditional R&B and Soul, or a newcomer to the world of Alternative, Electronic R&B, you'll find yourself bopping and moving to the music with your loved ones and friends!André is an R&B singer/songwriter from Ridgeland, Mississippi. Spending time honing his craft in activities such as choir and band, as well as learning instruments on his own, he has kept a great love and understanding for many genres of music, but R&B and Soul are his home. Since moving to DC, he has been an active member of the DMV creative community. In September 2024, André released his first project, “The Flowers I Kept For You”, an album detailing some of his experiences finding and falling out of love with people who are on their own journey of self-discovery. In June 2025, he attended the inaugural Indie Fest in Baltimore, where he won “Indie Song of the Year”, “Indie Artist Album of the Year”, “Album of the Year”, and “Indie Artist of the Year.”  He hopes to continue touching many hearts with his music, and make music especially for queer and trans people by relating to their experiences of joy, companionship, pain, and self-worth., (my artist music hub)
