Are you ready for Smigus-Dyngus? 

Dyngus Day, the Polish equivalent to Saint Patrick's Day, is a celebration of the end of Lent and the rebirth of spring. We plan on celebrating the good ol' Polish way with food, drinks, polka, pussy willows and water splashing!

Join us for our 10th annual Dyngus Day celebration! Started as a grassroots effort by a passionate Polak and Buffalo native to bring Dyngus Day to the DMV.

As always, there will be polish beer and food specials made by the amazing chefs at The Light Horse, which is a Buffalo Bills bar located on King St., only a short trolley ride or 20 minute walk from the King Street metro station.

So WEAR YOUR RED or something festive and bring your flower crowns. THIS YEAR will be the BIGGEST and BEST Monday holiday of the year! We are doing a FULL takeover of The Light Horse this year. Food and drink specials will be available upstairs and downstairs too.

Special this year, we will be raffling off the famous #Pieroguszka (Pierogi Plushie) from Poland seen during the Winter Olympics as a local fundraiser to benefit a local organization. Please bring cash to participate as it will be $10 cash per raffle ticket. It is not sold in the USA and made a special journey to get here from Poland in time for our #DyngusDay celebration.

NOTE: This event is 21+ and the live music is located upstairs on the second floor of The Light Horse. No cover. No squirt guns please. New this year: Well behaved children with their families are welcome on the earlier side of the event to join us for dinner.
