The Loch Lomond & The Trossachs Countryside Trust is inviting local residents and neighbouring communities to celebrate the launch of the new Lomond Plant Nursery on 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟲 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿, 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭𝗽𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝟰𝗽𝗺, at RSPB Loch Lomond, Gartocharn. 

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲: The free event begins at 1.00pm, with a programme of activities running throughout the afternoon, including a guided nursery tour, from artist and songwriter 'Curlew’s ' Songs of Plants performance, seed collection and processing activities, creative workshops, and opportunities to learn more about volunteering. As most activities take place outdoors or in polytunnels, please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. 

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: Did we also mention free food and refreshments will be available, plus an opportunity to meet members of the RSPB and the Trust's Nature Restoration team. 

Everyone is welcome, whether you're interested in getting involved, passionate about nature, curious about restoration work, or simply looking for an enjoyable afternoon out in the National Park. 

𝗚𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: Parking available. Alternative travel options include the 309-bus service between Balloch and Balmaha. The National Cycle Network 7 also runs through Gartocharn if you are cycling.
