Spirits Director Nick Farrell will guide guests through a tasting of a classic Sazerac, a Hurricane made the right way (with fresh passionfruit), a cognac-based French 75, and the oft-overlooked New Orleans classic, the Roffignac. Following this cocktail tasting, Nick will demystify Absinthe, pouring properly-diluted Absinthe from one of Josephine’s antique Absinthe fountains. We’ll discuss what makes Absinthe so special, and why if you see a green fairy, it’s not the spirit’s fault. Ticket holders will receive accompanying snacks to eat while sipping.
