An invitation to connect + learn
This workshop is part of โLead a new future for your communityโ - a program designed to connect and support emerging leaders, building on and activating strategies developed by innovation working groups across northern Victoria.
Led by the Australian Centre for Rural Enterpreneurship and co-hosted by Murrindindi Shire Council, this workshop will explore different models of rural entrepreneurship, and identify essential foundations needed to bring a community-led initiative to life or take an existing initiative to a new level.

Background
'Lead a new future for your community' is a program designed by ACRE to support economic diversification planning in communities affected by Victoriaโs transition away from native timber harvesting in State forests.
Thanks to funding support from DEECA, a tailored program of learning and development opportunities and mentoring is available to support these five priority communities with Local Development Strategies: Benalla, Corryong, Koondrook, Murrindindi, and Upper Yarra Ranges.
