Nebraska Big Year: Chasing 350 with Tobin Brown
Bio: Tobin Brown is a software developer from Lincoln, Nebraska who got into birding and bird photography in 2023. He quickly got hooked on the hobby and decided to spend 2025 traveling the state of Nebraska doing a Big Year. When he's not birding, Tobin enjoys biking, gardening, and cooking.
Description: A Big Year is a personal birdwatching challenge in which participants attempt to see as many wild bird species as possible within a single calendar year in a given region. For Tobin's Nebraska Big Year, it became a year filled with adventure, determination, and exploration as he searched every corner of the state in pursuit of a record-breaking bird count.
