Get ready to sip for a cause! The inaugural Ales for ALZ Fundraiser ALES TRAILS KNOXVILLE 2025 is set to take place throughout the month of August 2025, culminating with the 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer's - Knoxville, TN on Saturday, September 20, 2025. This exciting initiative invites beer enthusiasts and community members to enjoy local brews while supporting a vital mission: fighting Alzheimer's disease.
The ALES TRAILS KNOXVILLE 2025 will feature nine participating breweries across Knoxville, TN, each offering unique craft beers and special events. A portion of the proceeds from designated "Ales for ALZ" activities and sales will go directly to the Alzheimer's Association.
Here's how the Ales for ALZ Beer Trail works:
1. Passports: Participants earn their "passports" by making a donation towards one of the Venue Teams. QR codes will be provided on tabletops at each venue to facilitate the donation.
2. Trail Completion: Participants have the entire month of August (August 1st - August 31st) to get 6 of the 9 participating venues stamped on their passport by visiting and making a purchase.
3. Earn a T-shirt: Participants turn in their completed passports to one of the venues and will earn their exclusive Ales for ALZ t-shirt. T-shirts will be available for pickup at Walk Day on Saturday, September 20, or arrangements can be made for pickup at one of the participating venues.
Participating Venues and Planned Events:
• Blackhorse Brewery:
o Tuesday, August 5th, 6-8 PM: Ales for ALZ Kick-off event! Enjoy live music with a band provided. $1 per beer sold will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association.
• Hi-Wire Brewing:
o Wednesday, August 6th, 6-8pm: Trivia Night + Donation button available on the POS at checkout.
• Ebony & Ivory:
o Thursday, August 7th, 6:30-9:30 PM: Cigar Social. Details are pending.
• Orange Hat Brewing (Both Locations for Beer Trail):
o Saturday, August 9th, 11 AM: Pickleball tournament at their Hardin Valley location. Registration is $50 per team, available on Orange Hat's website. Prizes will be given for the Top 3 teams.
• Clancy's Tavern:
o Monday, August 11th, 7-9 PM: Trivia Night with proceeds benefitting Alzheimer’s Association
• Casual Pint - Northshore:
o Wednesday, August 13th, 7-9 PM: Jeopardy! Bar League. A portion of sales will go towards the Alzheimer's Association.
o Month of August: Tap #4 proceeds will be donated. A "Round Up" option will also be available at the Point of Sale (POS).
• Peaceful Side:
o Thursday, August 21st, 6-8 PM: Vinyl night with Captain Ed. $1 per beer will be donated all day long.
• Schulz Brau:
o Participating as a passport stamp venue.
• Xul (Both Locations):
o Participating as a passport stamp venue.
