Every year, we come together to reflect on the ongoing battle to end HIV and those we have lost along the way.

Open and free to the community, we encourage attendees to participate in whatever way they'd feel comfortable. Come and enjoy powerful performances dedicated to the cause, testimonials of those who've been affected, and art that honors the history of the virus. 

The community is coming together for the 2025 World AIDS Day Candlelight Vigil on Monday, December 1st, 2025.
Our community will come together to honor those who have been lost to HIV and to celebrate our continued efforts in providing care for those living with HIV. In addition, we want to continue building awareness and education about HIV to reduce stigma and foster the prevention of HIV.

World AIDS Day 2025

- Where: Expo NM - (Gate 3 at Copper and San Pedro)
- When: Monday, December 1st
- Gathering starts at 5:30 pm
- On-stage presentation starts at 6:15 pm

FREE refreshments
o 5:30 – Mediation, reflection, and music. Refreshments are served.
o 6:15 – Presentation and speakers
o 7:00 – Candle lighting and conclusion
A few things to expect:
- The area will be open to the public starting at 5:30 to peruse the displays, reflect and meditate. Live background music and refreshments will also be available.
- Starting at 6:15 pm several different speakers and presenters will be taking the stage to address the crowd. These presentations will represent several different parts of our community.
- Around 7 o’clock we will conclude the event with candle lighting and live music.
