- **Event Description**: A group of like-minded musicians that plays everything from Jazz, Funk, and Latin music to original songs and genre-cross exploration, The EQNX Jazztet describe their music as “Classic Jazz with a Modern Twist.” A local saxophonist founded the Jazztet in the summer of 2023, but, that fall, when he went on to pursue his career in a different state, trumpeter Michael Metz took over as the director. They have been going strong ever since and tonight, they celebrate their debut release, Inner Light, now available on all the digital platforms and streaming services. They will also have physical CDs for sale at this performance. Recorded in early 2026, Metz notes that the album serves as a snapshot of where The EQNX Jazztet is today, after two years of playing together, experimenting, and performing. It’s Michael Metz, trumpet; Dan Kelly, tenor saxophone; Vic Romanelli, guitar; Jamie Harrison, piano; Ian Davis, bass; and Grey Barrera, drums.
