Day 1: Watercolor Screenprint Monotypes and Backgrounds

Explore watercolor screenprint monotype techniques within a screen-print workflow.

Create soft color shapes that can stand alone as prints or serve as vibrant backgrounds for future layers.

Learn approachable techniques for mixing, applying, and lifting ink to produce rich, atmospheric textures.

Day 2: Screen-Printed Imagery and Color Passes

Discover which graphic images translate best to screen printing.

Expose patterns or drawings onto screens and print over Day 1 backgrounds.

Revisit color by using the watercolor monotype method to pull color through your image, adding depth and unity to your prints.

All levels welcome—no prior printmaking experience required.
