# Event Details - **Event Name**: MotorLand Fest Round 8 - **Event Start and End Date**: Fri, 03 Oct, 2025 at 03:00 pm – Sun, 05 Oct, 2025 at 04:00 pm - **Event Description**: About this event You're invited to our 3-day MotorLand Fest Round 8 here at Suika Circuit. This event includes some of the fastest Street & Race Cars here in the Southwest Region. Please read the 2025 Rule Books located on suikacircuit.com or abqsuperlap.com. ------------------------------------------------------------ Super Cup Classes: Spec Miata - This class is only for spec miata from the 1990-1997 “NA” and 1999-2005 “NB.” Please read all SCCA requirements for racing Spec Miata. Drivers must have completed the Suika Competition School or have a current race license honored throught the SCCA or Vintage Motor Council. Legends - are race cars with body shells are 5/8-scale replicas of American automobiles from the 1930s and 1940s, powered by Yamaha engines. The worldwide sanctioning body for legends car racing is INEX. Please refer to their spec requirements. Drivers must have completed the Suika Competition School or have a current race license honored through the SCCA or Vintage Motor Council. Vintage - If you have a car 1989 and older, feel free to enter. This class is for the older vehicles who aren't big into rubbing bumpers due to their classic status. Drivers must have completed the Suika Competition School or have a current race license honored throught the SCCA or Vintage Motor Council. Karts - These are not your standard recreational go-karts. Shifter Karts are intended to reach speeds exceeding 100 mph. Street - Is our Power to Weight ratio class. Drivers are restricted to a 200tw tire or greater. Car classification is based upon a power to weight system. Vehicles will be classed based on their RACE WEIGHT (the weight of the vehicle with all fluids and driver) divided by their peak WHP (Weight/WHP=Class). Drivers must have completed the Suika Competition School or have a current race license honored through the SCCA or Vintage Motor Council. 2025 Power:Weight Breakdown: A: 09.99 and below B: 10.00 to 13.99 C: 14.00 to 17.99 D: 18.00 and up ------------------------------------------------------------ Super Lap Classes: Drivers do not need to complete a school. Drivers are restricted to a 200tw tire or greater. Super Lap - Is our Power to Weight ratio class. Car classification is based upon a power to weight system. Kids 6 yrs old and under FREE!!! ------------------------------------------------------------ Competition School - If you're looking to get into Super Cup wheel to wheel racing then the competition driving school has you covered. A driver without a competition license must complete the competition driving school we pffer (or a similar course from a commercial high-performance driving school, e.g., Bondurant, Skip Barber, etc.) The license is then approved by Suika Circuit staff. If are looking to take the Suika Circuit competition driving school and do not have a racing licence; you must complete the High Performance Driving School first as a pre-requisite. ------------------------------------------------------------ This is a championship series based on a 160-point system. Points are awarded to drivers based on the fastest lap times and race finishes. Super Lap participants must have an approved lap timer or rent a transponder for $20.
