We will use pelvic models to practice inserting and removing different types of IUDs. Our clinicians will also review managing challenges related to IUDs, and will be happy to answer any questions related to contraception during or after training. Discuss pain management options for IUD placement and removal, practice hands on paracervical block skills.2. Discuss management of vasovagal response during IUD placement and removal.3. Discuss challenging IUD placement and practice skills including use of cervical dilators, os finders, and vaginal wall retractors.4. Discussed difficult IUD removals and practice skills including managing missing strings with cytobrush, alligator forceps and string retrievers.The entrance to the HALL is separate from the Cooper Center main entrance but is connected inside.
