Merge art, science and nature to create fascinating foliage prints that can be used for bookbinding, framing, card making or mixed media projects.  With a few common chemicals, heat and pressure, many plants will release pigments that leave precise images on paper.  Participants will learn two different techniques for eco printing on paper – a dirty pot method where paper is submerged in iron water and a steam method that results in clear backgrounds.  You will leave class with a stack of wonderful prints and knowing how to use both methods at home so that you can continue to make botanical prints to use in your artwork.
