- **Event Description**: Hoof & Heart is holding an orientation for our volunteer program.  We are looking for people interested in learning about the basic feeding and animal care chores.  We'll do a tour, cover the barn rules, talk about scheduling various volunteer opportunities although this training will be primarily focused on the feeding and animal care chores.   We'll also do a brief introduction on handling horses and learn about the grooming,deworming, trimming and vaccinating chores for which we ordinarily require extra volunteer help.   (If you are an experienced horseman interested in helping us with rehabbing and exercising horses or helping present beginning horsemanship trainings, please message the page.  We will be trying to put our 2026 summer events together shortly).
