What: Albertville Rec Plus Softball Tryouts

• 12u division at 9:00 AM
• 10u division at 10:30 AM
• 8u division at 12:00 PM
Where: Albertville High School Indoor Kinesiology Building
Why: This Rec Plus program, a partnership between Sand Mountain Park and Albertville City Schools, is designed to develop future Albertville Aggie softball players.

Registration:
Parents must register their athletes at sandmountainpark.recdesk.com from December 5 through January 9. No payment will be due until teams are selected. The registration fee for Rec Plus is $200 and includes a jersey, a cap, a belt or socks, and the official's fee. A multi-family discount will be applied for the third child across any spring sport of 2026.

What to Bring:
Players will need a glove, a batting helmet, and either tennis shoes or molded cleats. No metal cleats allowed. No gum or sunflower seeds at the facility.

Season Details:
Practices may begin as early as February, and games will start in late March or the first week of April. Practices and games will take place at Sand Mountain Park and other nearby communities that offer Rec Plus programming. Games and practices may be scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with the possibility of a few Saturdays. This is an advanced league and consistent attendance is required. Playing time is not guaranteed.
