KIDS & FAMILY DRUM CIRCLE CLASSES - 4 week series- All Ages with Michelle Lovrich founder of Drum Circle Connection
This class is designed to get kids and their siblings, parents, grandparents or caregivers playing together while having fun learning about rhythm. In each class I teach rhythm fundamentals, how to play together, how to make up your own rhythms as well as traditional rhythms. We put it all together at the end with a class drum circle. I bring lots of drums and percussion instruments for the class to explore such as wooden frog rasps, ankle bells, shakers, drums and more.

Learn West African style rhythms on the djembe, dunduns, shaker and bell to play solo as well as ensemble style with the class. Play fun rhythm games and exercises to help sharpen timing, tonality and build a strong rhythm foundation. !!!Fun interactive drum circle at each class!!!

Focused on Traditional West African style djembe and dundun rhythms and how to play them solo as well as together as a group. This class is designed for players who have taken the World Rhythms Hand Drum Class or have prior musical experience and are comfortable maintaining their own part in a polyrhythm played with the class. Rhythms are taught at a faster pace than in the beginning class. Drums provided or BYO.
