VETCON 2025

Join us for the award-winning Veterans in Economic Transition Conference (VETCON). VETCON assists Veterans and Veteran business owners as they transition to professional careers, and is an unprecedented collection of public and private businesses, non-profit organizations, and government agencies and authorities gathering together for a very worthy initiative.

VETCON Overview

VETCON provides support, advice and direction to New York State Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOBs), both startups and existing businesses. The conference hosts seminars, panel discussions and presentations on various topics, including issues that confront new businesses and how to do business through technology and marketing. VETCON provides access to businesses and organizations that help Veterans obtain employment and encourage industries to consider Veterans for employment. The New York State Office of General Services (OGS) will have representatives from state programs and agencies that help guide veterans toward useful programs that currently exist. Representatives from OGS will help instruct and educate Veteran business owners as to the process and requirements for becoming certified as a New York State Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) in order to increase participation in New York State's contracting opportunities.

The conference provides monetary awards and prizes to veteran-owned businesses and provides access to businesses and organizations that are not necessarily focused on Veterans but offer services that help them succeed and thrive after service. The conference speakers serve as mentors during seminar sessions and networking opportunities with the inclusion of notable Veteran business owners, investors and financial institutions. There will be specific rooms made available to connect NYS agencies and public authorities with SDVOBs and additional networking between attendees.

Ticket Information

Refund policy:

The Eventbrite registration fee is nonrefundable. VETCON will work to accommodate cancellation requests in advance of the event, however cancellations less than 30 days prior to the event date of December 2, 2025 are non-refundable unless there are circumstances that prohibit the event from taking place.

1. Veteran Business Owner Attendee - Two Day Ticket w/ One Night Hotel Room includes:

• One night hotel accommodation. Please specify your room preference when completing your registration.
• Admission to VETCON on Tuesday and Wednesday.
• Lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday.
• Breakfast and lunch on Wednesday.
• Mid-day refreshments.
• One free drink ticket for the networking mixer.
• Attendee gift bag.

This ticket is only available to current or aspiring Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business Owners.

2. Attendee - Two Day Ticket includes:

• Admission to VETCON on Tuesday and Wednesday.
• Lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday.
• Breakfast on Wednesday.
• Mid-day refreshments.
• One free drink ticket for the networking mixer.
• Attendee thank you gift.

3. Attendee - Tuesday Only Ticket:

• Admission to VETCON on Tuesday only.
• Lunch on Tuesday.
• Mid-day refreshments.
• One free drink ticket for the networking mixer.
• Attendee thank you gift.

4. Attendee - Wednesday Only Ticket:

• Admission to VETCON on Wednesday only.
• Breakfast and lunch on Wednesday.
• Mid-day refreshments.
• Attendee thank you gift.

5. NYS Agency Ticket:

• New York State agencies are invited to send up to 2 representatives to the event for free and will be given a 2-person agency matchmaking table in the Agency Matchmaking Ballroom! Please make sure to register each attendee and use your agency-related email address for confirmation purposes. Two attendees per agency maximum.
• We're sorry, but we are unable to make hotel accommodations for agency attendees.

Please note: If you would like to send up to 2 additional attendees (4 total), or if your agency would like to have a networking table in our sponsor area, please select the “Agency Booth Add-On” at checkout (cost is $500 per table). All other additional agency attendees must be registered as full attendee tickets.
