The Write Situation: Writing For Our Time

The Write Situation is a genre fluid creative writing workshop series. This month's theme is writing for our time. Nina Simone once said "An artist’s duty, as far as I’m concerned, is to reflect the times." This workshop session is about exploring the political nature of writing, engaging with vulnerability and exercising deliberate choices with language so we can focus on the power of voice, purpose and message. We'll also be exploring various writers' thoughts on decolonizing our work. Come ready to discuss and as always prepared to generate new work.

There is a sliding scale registration for this workshop. On my website there is a $15 option and $30 option to register.
