The Stratospheres' songs explore the timely and timeless matters of heat waves and train tracks, laundromats and love, uninvited advances and teenage tribulations, corporate oligarchy and the evils of efficiency. Their sound is a mix of pared-down rock n roll, twang, and proto-punk, Lucinda Williams meets Lou Reed.
