On this show, Jonathan Franzen listens to archival tape of Don DeLillo's 2009 Writers Institute event, and Susan Choi hears Grace Paley's voice for the first time– and that's just some of what you'll find in the first season. For season two in 2026, the show joins writers listening to the archival sound of Toni Morrison, Lorrie Moore, Francis Ford Coppola, and much more.
