This critical bill that was passed by the NY Senate in May 2025 will address the crisis of planet-warming, ocean-polluting, landfill-clogging, human health-harming single-use plastics by reducing them at the source while saving taxpayers money and providing support for recycling and reuse/refill efforts. We’ll gather at the Legislative Office Building at 10AM for an orientation with coffee and refreshments. You’ll hear from our organizers and legislative champions, and we’ll introduce everyone to team leaders and members. We’ll begin with a rousing rally, then spend the afternoon meeting with state legislators to urge them to pass this critical bill this session.

You will be part of a group with an experienced team leader, and we will provide you with talking points, memos, and information in advance.
