Painting glass in watercolor is a rewarding challenge that invites you to explore transparency, reflections, and subtle shifts in color. In this three‑hour workshop, you’ll learn essential techniques for capturing the beauty and realism of glass objects—whether you’re painting bottles, windows, vases, or everyday drinking glasses. In this workshop you’ll break down how light moves through and across glass, how to suggest shine without overworking, and how to use soft edges, layered washes, and controlled highlights to create convincing depth and clarity. Perfect for beginners looking to build confidence or experienced painters wanting to refine their skills, this workshop offers a focused, supportive space to bring glass to life on the page. Supplies are not included in the workshop fee. A PDF supply list is available in the workshop description.

Please note that our classes are typically held in the lower level of Arlene's. Because access to the lower level is available only by stair, please let us know if using the stairs presents any difficulty for you in advance of the class so we can make alternate arrangements. We want to make sure everyone is able to enjoy and participate in our classes.
