Mooch is a Perth-based drum and bass producer and DJ whose passion for electronic music ignited in his teenage years. Inspired by iconic artists like Andy C, Noisia, and Chase & Status, he was captivated by the raw energy and complexity of DnB, which soon led him to start producing his own tracks. Quickly carving out a unique sound,

Mooch’s music gained traction within the local Perth DnB scene. He made his debut in 2024 with the release of his single "So Fine" on Virus Syndicate’s Bad Medic Records, followed shortly by "FKBY" on Rene Lavice’s Device Records. These releases garnered attention and set the stage for a series of releases across multiple labels, solidifying his place in the DnB community. Characterized by intricate drum patterns, heavy basslines, and atmospheric melodies, Mooch’s music draws influence from a wide range of genres, including hip-hop, rock, and science fiction, creating a distinctive sound that is both emotive and dynamic.

As a DJ, Mooch is known for his electrifying sets, seamlessly blending classic DnB tracks with the latest releases. He has played at festivals, doofs, and clubs across Australia, as well as various shows in the UK and Europe, earning a reputation for high-energy performances that keep the dancefloor moving.
