Family/Whānau Support and Education Group
Are you a family member of a person who experiences mental health issues?
When you, as a support person in someone’s life, are confronted with ongoing stressful situations it is important that you have the support and skills to cope with it.
Equip’s 'Caring for Carers' education and support group is for adults supporting a person experiencing mental health distress. Skills and strategies are taught in a positive environment, and can be used to care for yourself and others.
When: Starting Monday 18th February 2019 for 6 – 8 weeks
Venue: Whangaparoa Community Hub

Time: 12:30pm – 2pm
