Find magic in the everyday moments. Whether it’s the curve of a coffee mug, the clutter of a well-loved desk, or sunlight catching a sleepy cat’s whiskers—this workshop invites you to slow down and sketch the poetry of daily life. Join artist-in-residence Ottavia Huang as she guides you through capturing fleeting moments with pencil, ink, and watercolor, transforming the ordinary into art that feels personal and timeless. Perfect for beginners and seasoned sketchers alike, this session is a gentle reminder that creativity lives in the quiet corners of our day. Supplies not included—please check the workshop description for the supply list. Space is limited—reserve your spot now and turn everyday life into your next masterpiece.
Please note that our classes are typically held in the lower level of Arlene's. Because access to the lower level is available only by stair, please let us know if using the stairs presents any difficulty for you in advance of the class so we can make alternate arrangements. We want to make sure everyone is able to enjoy and participate in our classes.
