Doors 7pm/Show 8pmAbout this EventMusic has guided Driftwood to hallowed ground many times since its founding members, Joe Kollar and Dan Forsyth, started making music as high schoolers in Joe's parents' basement. Whether the Upstate New York folk rock group—which today also includes violinist Claire Byrne, bassist Joey Arcuri, and drummer Sam Fishman—are converting new fans on a hardscrabble tour across the country or playing to a devoted crowd at hero Levon Helm’s Woodstock barn, the band’s shapeshifting approach to folk music continues to break new ground. One of Driftwood’s biggest differentiators—and perhaps its biggest strength—is the sheer breadth of talent in its lineup, with Claire, Joe, and Dan all contributing as songwriters and vocalists. This creative push-pull, where each selects songs to share with the group and record together, bakes vulnerability and collaborative spirit into every recording. “It's at the heart of what we do,” says Dan. “Everybody has a strong love for songs, for songwriting, and we each appreciate everybody else and the way that they contribute to that.”  https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events8/banners/ad381d20-bcbe-11f1-8f98-6f91b752ec17-rimg-w1112-h740-dce8e8e8-gmir.jpg The Mallett Brothers Band is an independent rock and roll / Americana / country band from Maine. Their busy tour schedule since forming in 2009 has helped them to build a dedicated fanbase across the U.S. and beyond while still calling the state of Maine their home. With a style that ranges from alt-country to Americana, country, jam and roots rock, theirs is a musical melting pot that's influenced equally by the singer/songwriter tradition as by harder rock, classic country and psychedelic sounds. Texas Hill Country Explore Magazine calls them “New England’s wildly eclectic crew of genre rebels.” Bill Copeland Music News says “Combining their authentic roots rock sound with a reflective lyrical style that perceives stories on the level of epic myth, it’s like William Faulkner has been resurrected with an electric guitar in hand.." - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/albany/driftwood-w-s-g-the-mallett-brothers/100001997156304268 - **Event Categories**: music, entertainment, live-music - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 - **Event Highlights**: - Age Limit: Under 18 with Guardian - Doors Open At: 7:00 PM - Duration: 3 hours 59 minutes - Location: Lark Hall - Languages: English ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 26.8, max: 30.28, currency: USD ## Event venue details - **city**: Albany - **state**: NY - **country**: United States - **location**: Lark Hall - **lat**: 42.6538219 - **long**: -73.76594229999999 - **full address**: Lark Hall, 351 Hudson Avenue, Albany, United States ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: Driftwood w/s/g The Mallett Brothers - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events6/banners/ff89c6e2a066c9c58b1f96925b944d0b0d15f904bdf16fc55b656ceab566f7cd-rimg-w640-h427-dcd8d8d8-gmir.jpg?v=1786486577 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is Driftwood w/s/g The Mallett Brothers being held? - **A:** Driftwood w/s/g The Mallett Brothers takes place on Sat, 24 Oct, 2026 at 08:00 pm to Sat, 24 Oct, 2026 at 11:59 pm at Lark Hall, 351 Hudson Avenue, Albany, United States. - **Q**: Who is organizing Driftwood w/s/g The Mallett Brothers? - **A:** Driftwood w/s/g The Mallett Brothers is organized by Lark Hall Albany. - **Q**: What has been the experience of attendees at Lark Hall Albany's events? - **A:** Attendees have given Lark Hall Albany a rating of 5/5 based on reviews from early attendees on AllEvents.
