Exciting News!
In developing the ‘Broadway in Vogue’ show the production team has realised just how much amazing history we have to display - about the costumes, the shows, the theatre, and the members. Archival footage of past performers, promotional posters, photos, stories....it's a treasure trove of how this cultural corner of Albany has grown over the years, and the journey is undeniably interwoven with the history of the Albany community.
As such, the City of Albany are very keen to include the show in the Bicentenary next year! The synergy of performing ‘Broadway in Vogue’ during an important historical year in Albany is an opportunity too good to miss, therefore we have made the difficult decision to postpone the show until July 2026.
We hope that you are still interested in joining us at that time - we will do another call out in the lead up to the show in 2026.
Inspired by Vogue World: Hollywood, the global celebration of fashion, film, and high drama, the event brings theatre history to life in themed sections: Regal & Period Pieces, Vintage & Retro
Glamour, Classic Broadway, Fantasy & Fairytale Elegance, and Modern Pop Power.
