- **Event Description**: Save the date for Big Night 2025 on Saturday, November 15th! Big Night is the much anticipated annual awards celebration and it is free for members*, so please mark your calendars and plan to join us on Saturday, November 15th. Doors open at 6 PM, program starts at 7:30 PM. 

We’re asking members to RESERVE their free general admission seats for Big Night online this year. Doing so helps us plan appropriately for dessert and beverage service. To celebrate, we’ll be offering a complimentary glass of sparkling wine (for members 21 and over), served by our friends from Wine Crush. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available, along with cake from MandyCakes and popcorn to snack on. You can find the link to reserve your spot in the "Big Night- RESERVE YOUR SPOT" email. Please reserve your spot ASAP, as we ran out of seats last year!

Celebrate ACT’s 75th anniversary at Big Night dressed as your favorite character, actor, role, crew position, show... the choice is yours!

Enjoy celebratory cake, popcorn and sparkling beverages with us.

We encourage attendees to visit one of the local downtown restaurants for dinner before Big Night.

Fun fact: November 15th marks the 75th anniversary of Albany Civic Theater!

Expect to be delighted by wonderful hosts and live entertainment as in years past.

We're looking for volunteers for Big Night! If you’re interested and able to help out, please email bignight@albanycivic.org for the following:
• Set up and prep
• Decorating committee (balloons)
• Greeters
• Catering committee (cake cutting, popcorn serving, Wine Crush helper, non-alcoholic beverage service during the event)
• Event support staff members (runner for supplies, check names when people get drinks)
• Post event clean up crew (plus eat extra cake ?)

*Members are those who have volunteered at least six hours in the last or current season: serving on the board, performing in a show or being part of the crew, working front of house during a show such as a house manager/head usher/usher, etc. If you’d like to confirm whether you’ve earned a membership with volunteer hours, please contact volunteermanager@albanycivic.org
