A resident of the Outer Sunset, Sachi is also the director and producer of the groundbreaking documentary , which chronicles the first women to compete at Mavericks and continues the fight for gender equity in big-wave surfing.CJ Betancourt – Mavericks Surf Based at the legendary break at Mavericks, CJ has spent years photographing the drama, scale, and history of one of the world’s most formidable waves. Mavericks has long been synonymous with pioneering big-wave surfer Jeff Clark, who first paddled out there in 1975 and helped define the break’s mythology.
