- **Event Description**: Join us for yoga flow followed by a sound bath as the sun sets.About this EventThis practice is to teach you how to remain calm, even during stressful times.Through intentional movement, breathwork, and sound, we’ll explore how to regulate the nervous system while the body is activated—whether in physical effort or moments of stress, overwhelm, or fight-or-flight.We’ll begin with grounding breath awareness and guided meditation, gently bringing attention to sensations within the body. From this space, you’ll be invited to acknowledge and release what no longer serves you—with presence, compassion, and intention.You’ll be guided through:Ujjayi breath (ocean breath) to anchor and focus the mindBandha (core) engagement to support stability and strengthMindful movement, using the breath to deepen and softenAwareness practices to help you stay calm while activatedThe yoga portion will flow with an emphasis on breath-led movement—using each exhale to create space, release tension, and move energy through the body.We’ll close with a deeply restorative sound bowl healing session, allowing the body and nervous system to integrate, soften, and reset.This experience is designed to help you:Release stored tension and emotional buildupRegulate your nervous systemFeel grounded, clear, and more connected to your bodyCreate space for something new within yourselfReturn to center, outside of the practiceThis is a heart offering to share this work to the East Bay Community. You will find us on the concrete lot by the water past the picnic tables.We are holding this event in partnership with @chicks_with_grit, a group who strives to hold spaces for individuals to express their whole selves in a community experienc. If you are willing to center play, creativity, and focus on the journey, not on the destination, this community is for you! We all have that feminine inside of us and we all have the strength and grit for self determination.Proceeds goes to the Bay Area Climbing Coalition.  The Bay Area Climbers Coalition hosts Gym-to-Crag clinics, film screenings, and community gatherings to support an accessible and safe climbing culture. The BACC Community Team is crucially important to our advocacy through our parent organization, the Access Fund by expanding access to include belonging, and representation in climbing across the Bay Area.
