Sober Sunday - Christmas Tree Lane + Tacos

Join us for our third annual walk down Christmas Tree Lane here in Alameda followed by tacos at one of the favorite restaurants on the island Cholita Linda!

We will meet at the corner of Fernside and 3291 Thompson Ave in Alameda. Look for Rachel holding her light-up sign and she will have hot apple cider and herbal tea available with paper cups or bring your own mug.

Expect to stroll slowly down the sidewalk as we look at all the decorations and many people will be out and about. It is a 0.4-mile round trip on flat pavement and should take approx 20-30 minutes depending on how slowly we go. The music and light show at the Nightmare Before Christmas House is not to be missed!

Please note that parking can be tricky in this area because of the free night event and its popularity with families from all over the East Bay.

The restaurant is located at 1337 Park St Alameda and there is free parking on neighboring streets as well as the parking garage (free on Sundays!) at 1416 Oak St. which is rarely full and only a 4-minute walk away. If you prefer a walk to the restaurant you can start from Christmas Tree Lane which is 1 mile away (20 min walk).

Event will be rescheduled if the weather becomes rainy.
