NoblesBishop Joe L. Nobles has spent his life committed to faith, service, and supporting his community. Born in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and raised in California from the age of 12, he began his pastoral work in 1969 when he founded Victory Temple Church in San Francisco. Over the years, he has served in several leadership roles within the Church of God in Christ and currently serves as First Administrative Assistant to Bishop J.W. Macklin of the Nor Cal Metropolitan Jurisdiction.For nearly 30 years, he has led Dancey Memorial Church of East Oakland, known for its strong worship tradition and deep community engagement. His ministry spans more than five decades and includes preaching, teaching, counseling, outreach, and sharing his gift for traditional gospel music.Bishop Nobles is a U.S. Army veteran, a retired longshoreman, and a recipient of numerous community and church recognitions.
