Join us for the First Annual 5K for School Safety, a community run/walk event benefiting The Safer Schools Initiative. This event brings together runners, walkers, families, and supporters with one shared goal — making our schools safer for students, teachers, and staff.
All proceeds from this event directly support the core mission of The Safer Schools Initiative, including:
✔️ Placing life-saving trauma kits in schools
✔️ Providing safety and emergency training for teachers and school staff
✔️ Supporting specialized training for local law enforcement agencies
This is a family-friendly event and all fitness levels are welcome. Whether you’re running for time, walking for a cause, or simply showing support, every step helps create safer learning environments in our community.
After crossing the finish line, join us for a post-5K celebration at Daft Cow Brewery! Participants and supporters are invited to continue the fun with:

🍻 Great drinks and community atmosphere
The post-race event is open to all and is a great way to connect, celebrate, and continue supporting school safety efforts.
